Fortnite System Requirements - Will not run on 32-bit Windows

Fortnite (Battle Royale) will run with acceptable FPS if your PC specs meet the game’s requirements. Open your computer settings, the system properties tab and check to see if the specs match these requirements for your PC and Mac.

Minimum:

OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit) or Mac OSX Sierra (10.12.6+).
Processor: 2.4GHz Intel Core i3 or 2.5GHz AMD Phenom II X4 805.
Graphics card: Intel HD 4000 or NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 or AMD Radeon HD 4250.
RAM: 4GB.
DirectX version: 11.
Free hard drive space: 20 GB.
Extras for Mac: Metal API support.
Internet: 1 MB per second.

Recommended:

OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit) or Mac OSX Sierra (10.13.3+).
Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5 or 2.8 GHz AMD FX-8100.
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 with 2GB of memory.

Fortnite (Battle Royale) will not run on 32-bit Windows operating systems. The developers have no comment on this, so owners of 32-bit Windows may be advised to reinstall the system.
The official website does not say how much Fortnite weighs. We installed and saw that the client with the game weighs 20 GB. This is not an exact figure and it will increase as the developers will be introducing new features and improving gameplay.

A little bit about FPS

The lower the FPS, the worse the gameplay – everyone probably knows that. If your computer or laptop meets only the minimum requirements, the FPS will be low and the game may freeze or sluggish. We tested this and got this result:
Intel Core i5-7200U processor, Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM – on high settings got 60 FPS, which is quite good for a comfortable game.

Mobile version requirements

As of April 2018 Fortnite is only available on iOS, although the developers on the official website promise to make an Android version soon.
And owners of smartphones and tablets with apple should pay attention to the following requirements Fortnite:
Compatible with iPhone SE, 6S, 7, 8, X. Also compatible with iPad mini 4, Air 2, 2017, Pro.
Not compatible with iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus. Also not compatible with iPad mini 2, mini 3, Air and iPod touch.
Requires iOS 11.0.1+ and an internet connection to work correctly.
