Martingale – Let’s Start with the Best One

The Martingale system is often touted as the best one there is. There are many reasons why people may feel like this stratagem is truly giving them the best chance of succeeding in the long run, but the fact is that Martingale is simply the most approachable stratagem to try and explore on your own. Players who are just getting started with the game will definitely have reasons to want more from the system. 

Martingale is a system that works in a very straightforward way. You do not have to spend too much trying to figure it out, you do not have to bet too big, and losses are easy to avoid. The drawback is that some players complain it’s a little mundane, but this is what a good strategy is all about – building your bankroll slowly and steadily. Whether it always works is another matter.

Now, Martingale is about picking a base bet and sticking to it. If you win, you repeat the base bet. If you lose – you double the bet. It doesn’t matter how many times you end up losing; you just double down. Once you win, you will simply default to your base bet and start over again.

This is pretty much the whole sequence. Is Martingale worthwhile? We most certainly think so. The important thing to remember here is to pick a small basic betting unit and a high table limit.

Fibonacci – Explore the Right Sequence 

To get the most out of your roulette game, you will definitely benefit from leveraging the different games and strategies there are. Now, we have Fibonacci – a mathematically sound sequence that is really easy to replicate.

However, it’s a strategy that is generally considered slightly more complex than Martingale because you have to follow an exact sequence, which is alright as well. The Fibonacci roulette sequence simply comes down to this:

  • 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987

What the strategy is about is that you start with the first number in the sequence and then move up if you lose. If you win, you simply go back two numbers. This strategy is slightly different, and it may grow the amounts you are wagering a bit quicker, but as long as you have 1000 units and the table limit is 1000, you should be fine. Here is a quick breakdown of what a game of Fibonacci roulette would look like:

  • Bet 1 unit: Lose
  • Bet 1 unit:  Lose
  • Bet 2 units: Lose
  • Bet 3 units:  Lose
  • Bet 5 units: Win

D’Alembert

D’Alembert is another strategy that we truly enjoy, as it is about giving you even more freedom and letting you have a great time when you play. It’s the opposite of Martingale in so many ways. For example, if you win with this strategy, you will double your wager. If you win again, you will double it again and so on.

Conversely, if you lose, you will move down one unit. Unlike Martingale, you do not default to a base unit. Rather, you move one unit up for each win and one unit down for each loss. In many ways, this strategy is very easy to follow.

The strategy will pretty much allow you to adjust your play as you progress, although there is not much to it other than picking your base unit, which can be extrapolated. I.e., you can just as easily say that you will be progressing two or even more units up and down. 

When it comes to working roulette strategies, you will probably have many different options to explore. However, familiarity with the three core ones is always worthwhile, as you will be able to cycle through them at your own pace.

The gaming market is growing very fast, according to RBC, this year its total budget will be 10 million dollars. And that’s just in Russia. That 10 million means the amount spent by advertisers to promote their products during tournaments and championships. And some of that money goes to the competitors, teams, and organizers.

Agree, it would be cool to win a CS: GO or Dota 2 tournament, get your million dollar prize money and become a famous player. But it succeeds only one of hundreds of thousands of people. And in this guide, we’ll tell you how to become one of the hundreds of thousands and make it to the top. It’s all business, here we go.

Cyber athletes – who are they?

From the perspective of the average person who goes to work every day and earns money, a cyber athlete is some person who plays the computer day and night and doesn’t know what they do for a living. Most people think this way, and they think negatively and do not pay attention to arguments when it comes to big prizes.

And from the perspective of someone who actively plays those very same KS GO and Dota 2, a cybersportsman is a very cool gamer who does nothing but play and do something there. But if this gamer trains properly, he will win tournaments and earn a lot of money.

The life of a cyber-sportsman isn’t really as good as it may seem at first glance. You have to constantly sit in front of the computer, spend 10 to 16 hours a day on the game, constantly train, learn and memorize new information. And what’s in return?

While a person sits and plays, life passes him by. Others study, go to the movies, go out and have an interesting time. Gradually the gap increases, because real life is very different from what you have in your computer. Are you sure you want it?

If you think that all you need to do is play all the time and you google phrases like “how long does it take to become a pro-player” and watch Twitch-channels, you are doing it all wrong. You’re wasting your time that way and you’ll never get anywhere.

First, try to calculate your money you’ll spend on improving your computer, the amount you can make in a year, and the amount you could make in the same year if you took a job at night.

It is true that a player may have a contract and a fixed monthly salary, but this is very individual and depends on the level of the organization and its sponsors. Usually the sponsor pays for the flight, accommodation and other tournament-related expenses, and the team in return advertises the brand itself on clothing and/or by writing its name in the nickname, for example.

Separately, let’s note the example of Topson (Topias Taavitsainen), a professional Dota 2 player who won The International 2018. This guy wasn’t known before The International 2018 at all until he was invited to the team by n0tail (Johan Sundstein) – the captain of the OG. Why did he invite him? Because Topson played publicks day and night and did it apparently well. OG ended up winning the tournament and earning the team $11,234,158. How much money do you think Topson got? Very, very much – it’s a story about how yesterday you play a publick, and today you win The International and become a millionaire.

If you want to become a pro player not for money and career, but for something else, I don’t know what, get that crap out of your head. That way you won’t be motivated enough, you’ll just waste your time playing the game and end up broke.
